"I've been deep into bhangra music my entire life. The first records I ever owned were 'Slave Fusion' by StereoNation raves Jaspal Singh, better known as emerging music producer JSL Singh. "Gaurav Dayal, Truskool, Tigerstyle, Timbaland, Prodigy, BT were also early influences. I've been dabbling in making tracks on programs like Fruity Loops since I was 14 years old." By the age of 21 he had released 5 underground albums on the internet getting him more than 1,00,000 downloads..

JSL Singh is part of a new generation of artists that refuse to be restricted by preconceived notions or outside expectations. "Genre has never been important to me," he insists. "I've never thought about music that way."
Describing his current sound as "a mix of Bhangra, RnB, Electro and Break Beat all thrown together," upcoming StereoNation (January 2012) release "DESI & U KNOW IT ft. Himself" reflects all of the above and beyond..

For the first time he is featured as a SINGER on "DESI & U KNOW IT" aside from that JSL has also made a name for himself as a highly sought-after Punjabi Rapper. He's already done several Collabs with the A-list artists as the TAZ (StereoNation), DJ Sanj, PHAT KAT & also contributed in BollyWood wid upcoming movies like "Mr Bhatti on Chhutti" as a musc producer!!
